In addtion to doing rehairs & bow maintenance, I make and sell bows.   I began bow making four years ago, directly after my first meeting with Yung Chin.  Since that time I've continued to work with Yung once a year and have continued to attend the Bow Makers Workshop at Oberlin College.  This unique workshop attracts some of the best bowmakers in the word and has been a great resource and inspiration.

Working in Chicago I get the chance to work on and study many bows made by the acknowledged masters of the craft.  Bow Making is an exacting craft which requires consumate tool skill and understanding of the wood used for the stick:  pernambuco.   The bows pictured on the home page were made by me.  As the site evolves, I'll include more detailed photos.

I also offer fine bows by other makers.  Regardless of your skill level or price range, I can assist you in finding the right bow.
